Trina Ang Kokseng, the name behind Cake Couture by Trina, Ciao! and my favorite Bocca Felice introduces a new pastry and dessert destination that Cebuanos will surely love. Treat Street Cafe is a new haven for sweet lovers like me. It offers various desserts and snacks that we are already familiar with like Banoffee Pie and Mango Cheesecake and also something new to Cebuanos like the Treat Street Pie, Green Tea Black Sesame Cake and their best selling Spicy Lechon Pie.
Located at the 2 Level of the Ayala Center Cebu’s Expansion Wing, Treat Street Cafe is hard to miss with its industrial and modern looking kiosk design. It’s a perfect spot to have sweets after a sumptuous lunch or dinner with family or an afternoon snacks with friends.
Green Tea Black Sesame Cake. An interesting cake made with green tea and black sesame chiffon cake enveloped with green tea and black sesame mousse. This is not too sweet and has the right amount of green tea and black sesame flavors. If you want something healthy and guilt free, this is cake is for you.
Honey Toffee Crunch Cake. Light and tender chiffon cake drizzled with honey and topped with toffee crunch. I love how the toffee gives the simplicity of the cake with buttery-sweet flavor. The toffee also gives it an interesting crunch.
Treat Street Pie. A cake with chocolate cookie crust made with layers of chocolate fudge, caramel and candied walnuts and topped with whipped cream and grated chocolate. This dessert has all the right combination of ingredients. The crust is chewy and at the same time has a crunchy texture because of the candied walnuts. The whipped cream was a perfect topping because it balances the sweetness of the crust and also gives it an extra creaminess.
Mango Cheesecake. Creamy cheesecake with Mango bits and topped with Mango sauce.
Red Velvet Brownie Ala Mode. Red Velvet Brownie topped with a generous serving of vanilla ice cream. Also available in Salted Caramel and Fudge.
Spicy Lechon Pie. An interesting version of meat pie stuffed with locally sourced spicy lechon blended with secret spices. Cebu is famous for lechon and I love how Treat Street Cafe came up with this unique pie creation. I like how it’s not too spicy and served warm. This is perfect for snacks or even as a pasalubong for your family and friends outside Cebu.
Desserts are best paired with coffee, Treat Street Cafe serves the premium Illy brand to perfectly complement their distinct line of cakes and pastries.
As I always say, there’s always a room for dessert. Visit Treat Street Cafe at Level 2 of Ayala Center Cebu’s Expansion and treat your self with heavenly desserts.
