Feast on Cebuano Culinary Ingenuity at Café Marco’s Sugbusog

The annual tradition lives on as Marco Polo Plaza Cebu celebrates Cebuano culinary ingenuity this Sinulog with Sugbusog, a Culinary Journey at Café Marco. The annual tradition started in 2007 to showcase the unique and rich dishes of Cebu. 12 years later, the tradition lives on.

This year’s Sugbusog features dishes that Cebuanos truly love- from our favorite street foods, fresh seafood, sinful and tasty lechon, and home cooked dishes that our parents prepare for us. The buffet spread is overflowing with local dishes like balbacua, kaldereta, and beef steak Cebuano.

Marco Polo Plaza Cebu has also tapped Cebuano bloggers and writers who are known to be food savvy to prepare a local dish that they truly love. The tandem of Dr. Nestor Alonso to Neil Viagedor Savellon has prepared a Humba while Ms Aisa Dela Cruz and Michael Karlo Lim prepared Pancit Luglug.
