Pizza and pasta are two of my favorite food and I got really excited when Italliani’s finally opened their branch in Ayala Center Cebu. There are now a total of 17 Italianni’s branches all over the country located in Manila, Angeles City, Pampanga, Laguna, Cagayan de Oro, Davao and now in Cebu.
Italianni’s serves American-Italian cuisine that will surely satisfy the Cebuano palate. Their menu has a wide array of food choices ranging from appetizers, starters, salad, pizza, pasta, main course, desserts and even a special menu for kids.
Every meal starts with a complimentary home-baked Tuscan and Foccacia bread served with olive oil and aged vinegar. I really love munching on this bread while waiting for my order to be served. The bread is soft and warm and it’s perfect for the dip.
Formaggio is an Italian word for cheese, Spinach and Artichoke Formaggio is a creamy cheese dip or spread with spinach, artichoke and mushrooms. This a perfect dip for the garlic bread that goes with the serving.
One of Italianni’s best selling pizza is the Quattro Staggioni, it’s a four flavored pizza topped with pepperoni, mushroom and artichokes, shrimp with black olives, four cheeses topped with arugula and chicken pesto.
Herb Roasted Spring Chicken is a half-chicken roasted with Italian herbs served with Italian style gravy, sauteed vegetables and a choice of garlic rice or mashed potato. The chicken is tender and flavorful because of the herbs and the gravy is a perfect combination because it’s not to salty. And of course, you can’t go wrong with rice as a pair.
Tartufo is a three layered chocolate cake with dark and white chocolate mousse covered with chocolate fudge frosting. The sweetness is just right and the combination of the three layers is heavenly.
