In the recent years, Marco Polo Plaza Cebu has been celebrating Philippine Independence Day with a gastronomical feast at Café Marco. Dub as Indepencia, this Culinary Journey series aims to showcase the dishes that make us proud as a Filipino.
This year’s Independencia will be featuring distinctive cuisines from all over the Philippines. The dishes were carefully prepared and selected by Marco Polo Plaza Cebu’s first Filipino Executive Chef, Juanito Abangan, together with the rest of his All-Filipino Culinary team.
Enjoy the tasty sisig, bistek tagalog and kare-kareng dagat of Luzon. Feast on lechon, humba and ngohiong from Visayas. And savor the rich and exquisite flavors of Mindanao with their chicken pianggang and satti. All these and more Filipino dishes were added on top of Café Marco’s international buffet spread.
