Weekend, one of Cebu’s new favorite dining destinations recently turned one.
Weekend has been serving Cebuanos with dishes that we can truly call culinary masterpieces. Some dishes were even introduced for the first time to Cebuanos like their Kalamari, Buffalo Cauliflower, and So Offal. Since they opened, Weekend has become a favorite dinning spots in Cebu, not only on weekends, but all week long. No wonder, they won the Best New Restaurant in Sunstar’s Best of Cebu 2017.
Some of the notable dishes served at the Weekend are the Weekend Ribeye Steak, the Fat Bastard, Angus Beef Kebab, Swined Chicken, and Jupiter’s Acorn Salad. Weekend is also known for its 16-tap draft system featuring the country’s best beers from Turning Wheels Craft Brewery, Cebu Brewing Co., Birdie Num Num Craft Brewery, Crows Craft Brewery, Hoegaarden and Stella Artois. Over the past year, Weekend has also introduced several new dishes that are worth coming back for — Salmon Sez, Fireburd, Foie Gras Sisig, and Weekend Burger, just to name a few.
During their anniversary media dinner, we tried several items from their menu that left me my taste buds and tummy really satisfied.
Of course, a meal is not complete without dessert.
