Civet Coffee opened their first branch in Cebu two years ago in Lapu-Lapu City. I still remember when Doyzkie of iluvcebu.com kept on telling us how good their coffee was and we should try it. Lapu-Lapu City is just too far away from where I live, good thing, I was always in Lapu-Lapu City during that time to prepare for our outreach activities at iLearners.
To make the long story short, I was able to try their coffee after our outreach in Caohagan Island and fell in love with it. It was one of the best tasting coffee I ever tried and I never experienced palpitation after drinking one.
In 2015, Civet Coffee opened their second branch in Cebu, also in Lapu-Lapu City at the Mactan Alfresco in Mactan Newtown. This year, I was very excited when I saw the tarp covering the recently closed Irie Gastropubliko in Skyrise 4. I was really delighted when I read Civet Coffee, finally it’s opening in Cebu IT Park! I only tried Civet Coffee thrice but it became one of my favorite coffee places in Cebu.
Their Cebu IT Park branch can seat up to 60 customers. They also have an indoor area for smoking customers.
Civet Coffee offerings includes juices, tea, lattes, espresso beverages, dutch coffees and ice blended drinks. They also serve drip coffee including 30% Civet Coffee at Php590 per cup. They also offer 50% and 100% Civet Coffee but you need to order in advanced.
During my first visit at their Cebu IT Park branch, I ordered a Java Chip Frappe. I find it too milky and I can barely taste the coffee but for some reason I liked it. The chocolate bits taste like the chocolate that I buy in sari-sari store when I was a kid, it’s kinda nostalgic. I’m excited to try the iced coffee drinks which made me love Civet Coffee on my next visit.
They also have cakes, breads and pastries to go with your coffee.
Civet Coffee opened their Cebu IT Park branch last April 27 at Skyrise 4 building, they are currently on soft opening and will be fully operational starting May 6. Civet Coffee Cebu IT Park branch is currently open from 1pm to 9pm. Starting May 6, they will be open from 7am to 3am. I think I found a new place to write blogs and do my home based work. They have a fast internet too.
